Based on Richard Neely's 1971 novel, "The Plastic Nightmare." Dan (Berenger) is involved in an automobile accident leaving him with amnesia. He discovers that he is married to Judith (Scacchi), but enlists the aid of part-time PI Gus (Hoskins) to help him unravel his real life.
A noirish thriller set in San Francisco, shot on location there and in Oregon.
