    Description

Straight from a swanky Grosse Pointe Shores estate, here's a vintage Mid Century Lucite Etched World Globe Ice Bucket. The decor in the house it came from dated to the 1960's; and while I cannot date this piece for certain, it is truly a gorgeous piece of iconic barware, great for conversation and sure to be great for "breaking the ice"!. Etched on the inside is a map of the world which you see from the outside. The lid is etched to match. I have seen these attributed to Allesandro Abrizzi, but this one has no markings. It appears identical. Measurements are 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 7 1/4". Weighs just over 9 lbs. Excellent, clean, shiny condition; it certainly has not seen much, if any, use. Please see condition report above for specific details on condition. As always, I try to describe items as best I can. This ice bucket, while in excellent condition as described, is vintage, comes from an estate, and as such should be considered used. It is being offered as-is, so please ask any questions you have prior to bidding and before the end of the auction. Shipping costs will depend on location of high bidder.

    About Us
Please NOTE: International bidders--You are responsible for any duties and/or taxes that are levied on your purchase by your home country's Customs. I will not mark your package as a gift or under-report the value of your item. Please do not expect otherwise.
Most of the items I sell are VINTAGE. This means they may have been used. I typically do not sell what I would consider substandard or damaged items, but any item that has been used MAY shows minor signs of use. This is normal. While I do inspect all items I sell, it would be difficult to describe every minute imperfection in writing. I provide you with sharp, focused, properly exposed photographs to enhance my written description. Shipping is not free to me, and the costs keep going up--I purchase new boxes and packaging materials so that your item arrives in the same condition it left here in. I do not charge you for that. I charge you exactly what it costs me to SHIP your item, with NO handling charges. The shipping calculator is available to you before you bid, and if you have any questions about shipping or anything else, please contact me before you bid. After you receive your item, if you have ANY question at all about your purchase, DO NOT hesitate to contact me BEFORE you leave feedback. Your item will be shipped within the timeframe given in the listing. Usually that is within 3 business days after your payment has been completed. This allows me extra time if I am at work or have other obligations. Please let me know if you need your item by a specific date and I will do my best to oblige.
My goal is for you to experience 5 star service in every aspect of your transaction, but I am a human, and so occasionally something may slip past me. Please contact me before leaving your feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings if you feel that something is not the way you expected it to be. Thanks for taking the time to read this and good luck bidding!
