Draft script for the 1961 film, here under the working title, "Escape from Hell." Actor Lloyd Kino's copy. Kino portrays an unnamed "fence guard" in the film, and there are annotations to his dialogue throughout the script, about a dozen places, in addition to his ownership name ("Prop. Lloyd Kino") on the second leaf.
Seven women from different backgrounds, nationality, age, class, and marital status find themselves in New Guinea, February 1942 - when the Japanese army takes over unexpectedly, and sends them into a war camp in the jungle.
Red titled wrappers, rubber-stamped copy No. 87. Title page present, noted as production No. 6173, with credits for screenwriters Lasky and Silver. 124 leaves, Multilith duplication, with pink revision pages thoughout, dated variously between 5-17-61 and 5-31-61. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, internally bound with two gold brads.
